On The Town

The sun had long set.
I called for another round.
Coffee to sober up,
from a bad day on the town.
It started as a day,
where I wanted to just dance.
And that’s just what I did.
At each stop I took a chance.
I flirted with the ladies,
I twirled with fancy steps.
But the result of my quest,
left me here with regret.
Every place it was the same,
As if word had got around.
So now here I am,
tossed from every,
church in town.
