I will worship You

He's Colored My Life

The Lord has given,
the world great light,
and given hues,
to black and white.

He's taken darkness,
from my soul,
and made my life,
colorful.

The Great Oversight

The tragedy of
a lived life,
that contains a great
oversight.

By accumulating
all one can afford
yet not having
a life in the Lord.

Unsure

If I neglect,
to stop and pray,
and speak with God,
at the start of day,
and listen to what,
He has to say,
I feel unsafe,
unsure of the way.

I Was The Worst (based on Timothy 13-17)

I was a blasphemer and persecutor,
and insolent opponent,
yet I received mercy and grace,
though I didn't deserve it.

Jesus came into the world,
to save those with sin's curse.
Among the many sinful,
I confess I am the worst.

Yet Christ forgives with perfect patience,
and redeemed me from my treason,
I worship and praise my God,
who has granted me freedom.

Bedtime Prayers

A child will say,
their bedtime prayers,
and speak to God,
of all their cares.

Yet adults can learn,
at this scene so mild,
how to please God with,
the faith of a child.

To Giggle To Laugh

To smile,
to giggle,
or to laugh,
makes a happy life,
that moves so fast.

A heart is full,
and speaks
glad words,
if it possesses,
the joy of the Lord.

A Good Read

You can read the newspaper,
but it may not be the truth.
You can't rely on the tales,
that were told as a youth.

There is a reliable source,
you may of read or have heard.
The font of truth,
is to be found in God's Word.

No Record

No remembrance or record,
of wrongs we have done.

We are washed and forgiven,
in the love of God’s Son.

Stream Of Dreams

Like a shadow,
as if a dream,
life passes,
in times stream.

We flow towards,
a world above,
and leave behind,
imprints of love.

Do all things,
without murmuring,
or dispute.

and harmless,
sons of God,

in the midst of a crooked,

perverse nation,

We Are Drawn

Like iron sharpens iron,
brothers increase delight.
Together we are drawn,
as by a magnet towards Christ.

Under A Cloud Of Words

Under a dark
and thick cloud of words,
the Earth's serenaded
by the songs of birds.

With the swaying of trees,
exhaling fresh air,
as men fret and battle,
nature plays unaware.

Glorious wonders
unaffected by men,
who rush
making monuments,
then end.

Never pausing to hear
the music or dance.
Ever speaking and struggling
in an attempt to advance.

Not Always Sunny

The world may not always seem,
carefree, bright and sunny.
There may be struggles in health,
or perhaps a lack of money.

In this life there is no guarantee,
that trials will ever cease,
but there is a promise from the Lord,
in Christ you will have peace.

The Legacy

The legacy of one’s life,
is not accumulated wealth.
But their love of God and others,
and their giving of themself.

I Am Relieved

From the burden of sin,
I am relieved.
The result of Christ,
in whom I believe.
He took the debt,
and paid the price,
and gave to me,
eternal life.

Uniform Individuality

God wants us not in uniform.
Like a collection on a shelf.
But He desires that we flourish,
and be great as our self.

He Will Radiate

He will radiate,
with glory from above.
The one filled with the Spirit.
Expressing peace with love.
