Revelation 21:5 Paraphrased And Rhymed

The one sitting on the throne,
said, "Look, I'm making all things new!"
"Write this down", He said to me.
"For I Am trustworthy and true."

Psalm 17:6 Paraphrased

I call on you my God,
and all doubts within me cease,
for I know you hear my prayer,
and You will answer  me.

Release Your Burden

When you are unwell,
and your world is askew,
cast your burdens on the Lord,
and He will care for you.

Greater Than A Knife

Greater than a knife,
more like a two edged sword,
the Word of God cuts asunder,
where thought and intent,
are stored.

Before you get tired of hearing various artist’s version of this song,
I thought I would give you an opportunity to get tired of mine. :)

I Know

I don’t worry all about the things I hear.
I don’t worry cause I know the One who’s near.
Yes I know. Yes I know.
I don’t fear what others show to me.
I know the one who controls my destiny.
Yes I know. Yes I know.
I’m not saying there aren’t problems everywhere.
But I know my life is in His care.
There is more to it all than what we may see.
So I trust His promise that He cares for me.
So much going on that I don’t understand.
But I know my life is in His hand.
There is nothing, that can take Him by surprise.
If I’m knocked down, He will make me rise.
I don’t have to listen to a bad report.
I don’t have to turn to a last resort.
Cause I know. Yes I know.
I don’t have to wonder how it will end.
He’s already shown it to all His friends.
Yes I know. Yes I know.
He told us long ago to choose which side were on.
As for me and my house we know where we belong.
It’s only the beginning when it seem like it’s the end.
And hopes that have died, they will live again.
The battle is the Lord's and we all can play a part.
He’s sealed us with His Spirit and He’s spoken to our Hearts.
He’s asked to trust Him and only to believe.
And we are to follow Him, to victory.

Proverbs 28:2

Many rulers are in the land,
that has transgressed,
but a wise discerning king,
rules a land,
that is blessed.

Not My Works

It’s not what I do,
or what I see,
but the work of Christ,
that saves me.

The Humble

There’s a verse,
that says the meek shall inherit the earth.
Some might think that this is a curse.
But they got it in reverse.
For those who serve others are the most beloved.
It’s a shame,
how folks chase after fame.
Thinking they are making a name.
But they’ll find,
all they’re making is time,
until they have to leave it,
all behind them.
God lifts up the humble.
Those who lift themselves stumble.
If you’re willing to lose your life you will find that’s when you gain it.
There are plans.
You might think one is good for you.
But is this what God wants you to do?
Ask and pray,
and He will show you the way,
and you will have joy,
for the rest of your days.
Put aside,
dreams just based on pride.
that causes one to hide,
all the pain and the fears that’s inside,  and the tears that are cried,
when your living a lie.
Trust His way.
He knows what’s best for you.
He knows what you’ll like to do.
You’ll find that He’s greater than kind.
And He’ll give you more joy,
than has entered  your mind.

Calming Commune

I meditate and offer prayer,
to Almighty God,
who is everywhere.
Who keeps me in,
His loving care,
and adopted me,
as a king’s heir.

It Is Called Labor Day

I often confuse Labor Day,
with another.
That day we set aside,
to honor our mothers.

I Know This

My lifetime pursuit of knowledge,
rewarded me and bestowed,
an understanding of how much,
there is that I don’t know.

A Blessing

I appreciate you taking time
to read the ramblings
from my mind.
I bless and thank you.
You are most kind.
May peace and joy
not leave you behind.

Colorblind

One day the colors came,
shining through.
I started seeing things,

I thought I knew.
I could no longer do,
what I used to do.
No longer colorblind.
Reality in different hues.
Unfamiliar point of views.
Full of desire,
to spread the news.
No longer colorblind.
I thought I saw the proper way.
Unaware I saw mostly greys.
Now that I have restored vision,
I feel like I’m,
on a mission.
Leaving old sights behind,
I’m no longer colorblind.
