We Are Drawn

Like iron sharpens iron,
brothers increase delight.
Together we are drawn,
as by a magnet towards Christ.

Under A Cloud Of Words

Under a dark
and thick cloud of words,
the Earth's serenaded
by the songs of birds.

With the swaying of trees,
exhaling fresh air,
as men fret and battle,
nature plays unaware.

Glorious wonders
unaffected by men,
who rush
making monuments,
then end.

Never pausing to hear
the music or dance.
Ever speaking and struggling
in an attempt to advance.

Not Always Sunny

The world may not always seem,
carefree, bright and sunny.
There may be struggles in health,
or perhaps a lack of money.

In this life there is no guarantee,
that trials will ever cease,
but there is a promise from the Lord,
in Christ you will have peace.

The Legacy

The legacy of one’s life,
is not accumulated wealth.
But their love of God and others,
and their giving of themself.

I Am Relieved

From the burden of sin,
I am relieved.
The result of Christ,
in whom I believe.
He took the debt,
and paid the price,
and gave to me,
eternal life.

Uniform Individuality

God wants us not in uniform.
Like a collection on a shelf.
But He desires that we flourish,
and be great as our self.
